Welcome!

I'm Kristi, an aspiring chemist and knitter living in Southern California.  I'm married to an eccentric audio designer who is also a living and breathing Stars Wars encyclopedia.  We share our home with Nugget, the most decadent puggle I know.

Hello...I think we are twins separated at birth and are now living on different costs...also a 32 year old working on my chemistry degree (though I'm still in Gen Chem...just started back this past fall.) I'm also on Ravelry (maggyruth)...though mainly a crocheter (I've recently restarted knitting and am finally getting the hang of it.

Found your blog via ThinkGeek's FB post re: the carotid. (BTW, I am totally going to show my husband that...he is my uber science geek extraordinnaire chem engineering guy.)

Cheers!
Peggy

Hi Peggy!

I actually grew up on the east coast. I grew up in Maryland and lived in New Jersey for a couple of years. It's so great to get in touch with another chemistry major that's my age! Chemistry people seem difficult to find anyway; I get a lot of odd looks when I talk about my major. They think I'm crazy...they are probably right. :)

If I had a choice, I'd seriously consider chemical engineering, but it's not offered at my university.

I'm ScienceKnitGirl on Ravelry. I've been knitting for about six years and know the very basics of crochet.

Nice to meet you!
