Hello!  My name is Kristi, but I also go by ScienceKnitGirl on Ravelry.  I also go by TrueStar among my circle of friends.

I will be 32 years old as of February 6, 2011.  My goal is to obtain a college degree in chemistry and to successfully boil water without the smoke alarm going off.  I live in southern California with my husband Jake and Nugget, our puggle.

I am a self taught knitter of six years.  My mother-in-law taught me the basics of crochet, but so far I have crocheted most of an amigurumi duck and toyed around with doilies.

Currently, I attend California State University: Northridge and am a junior chemistry undergraduate.  I'd like to at least obtain a masters, but I have no idea of what kind of career I'd like to have.
